All About the Project

This fan-made music video for Bruno Mars’ “Perm” brings the energy of the song to life through vibrant, city-inspired visuals. Set in a world reminiscent of New York and Chicago, the project uses color and costuming to highlight character roles and personalities, from the lead in bold orange to the coordinated yet distinct backup dancers. Archetypes like the newsboy, construction worker, pawn shop owner, breakdancer, yoga instructor, and a cheerful young couple populate the scene, creating a dynamic and playful urban narrative.
